A summary of what Dru might pick up on about your character:
Oh man... where to start? So much tragedy and horror for Dru to pick up on... don't know how well you know Ocarina of Time, so...

Link is physically 12 years old, mentally 20 (for the most part). He grew up in a forest with the Hyrule equivalent of the Lost Boys (the Kokiri). He never new his mother or father (not a sore point) but doesn't know exactly how old he is other than 'at least eleven' (sore point).

Link was the 'boy without a fairy' for most of his life in the Kokiri Forest and was often teased and bullied by many of the others, especially Mido, for being different and 'half a man'. (sore point). When Link got a fairy (Navi) he was happy, but then subsequently found out he was not a Kokiri, but a Hylian and was therefore going to grow up one day and have to leave the forest. Making him 'different' from everyone once more. Being different and odd is not so much a sore point as it is something that makes him occasionally sad and envious of others who 'fit in'. This is easily dispelled by thoughts of his best friends.

His father figure, the Great Deku Tree (an actual talking tree) died from a curse that Link could not prevent despite physically going inside him and killing the source of the curse (a giant one-eyed spider like bug named Queen Ghoma).

He then left the forest to seek out Princess Zelda - who is also a pre-cog! - because the Great Deku Tree told him to do so before he died. This then led him to facing the great Dodongo (and having to kill it by feeding it bombs while also actively avoiding a giant pit of lava) as well as saving Princess Ruto (fish girl) from the stomach of her people's living god. Yes, he was swallowed by a giant fish (not quite whale status) and had to explore it's bowels to save Ruto from it. He was still 12 mentally at the time, too. (These events, while disturbing to most, don't seem to phase him at all. There was some trepidation at the time, but they are not remembered with all out fear or pain.)

Upon completing these missions, he hurried back to Hyrule Castle with the items he had done them to get, only to find Zelda fleeing the scene and Ganondorf chasing after him. Taking the Ocarina of Time, Link headed to the Temple of Time and pulled the Master Sword, opening the way to the Sacred Realm (and also allowing Ganondorf to enter and take the Triforce of Power - Link does not blame himself for this and doesn't feel remorse because he knows he didn't know any better the first time around).

His memories at this point are very odd because they then skip ahead 7 full years. There is literally nothing in between. He's roughly 12 and pulls the sword and then he's roughly 19 and leaving the temple of time to a Hyrule that is changed. There are ominous clouds in the sky and Castle Town is full of ReDeads (zombie like creatures that can freeze a person physically in place with a scream that makes their blood run cold, giving them time to walk over, jump on their back and drain the life out of them. Link is terrified of them and always deals with them cautiously. He was physically 19 and still mentally 12 when he first encountered them.)

His first stop was the Kokiri forest, which was now covered in monsters and his best friend (Saria) was no where to be found. None of the other Kokiri recognized him as the boy from seven years prior who had left and never came back. (this makes him sad, but he's also happy to have had a 'fresh start' on being friends with Mido - the events surrounding the Forest Temple are when his maturing into an adult in truth begins)

Link meets Sheik for the first time at the Forest Temple.
